Owners Kathryn and Craig Hall continue their commitment to support the local community by hosting this annual event to raise money and awareness for local charities and non-profit organizations throughout the valley. This year, competing chefs from the Napa Valley and Bay Area will craft their ultimate small bites dishes to pair with the HALL 2009 Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon. Professional judges and attendees will select their first and second place winners. Winning the best dish enables the paired charity to take home part of the proceeds from the event!

Napa Valley Photographic Society Artists’ Reception Febuary 24

The Napa Valley Photographic Society Annual Show and Sale is scheduled for January 23-March 11, with an Artists’ Reception and silent auction on February 24 from 5 to 8 pm at the Yountville Community Center, 6516 Washington St. A percentage of the proceeds from the auction and sales will benefit Clinic Ole. Latino Winemakers Support Clinic Ole

Community Health Clinic Ole was recently the beneficiary of a wine tasting event in San Francisco featuring several Latino winemakers . Viña- The Signature Experience of Wine and Food raised funds to support Clinic Ole’s farmworker outreach program which provides health screenings and education at migrant farmworker housing centers and vineyards throughout Napa Valley. Participating wineries included: Alex Sotelo Cellars, Black Coyote Wines, Renteria Wines , Reynoso Vineyards, and Robledo Family Winery. The event was hosted by the Economic Empowerment Fund whose mission is to promote opportunities for under-represented communities through education and informational programs.
